The AAHA is pleased to announce two opportunities for 2016 birth year players.
1. The first is participation in a hybrid half-ice/full-ice season. The AAHA has received approval from USA Hockey to offer teams comprised of exclusively 2016 birth year players the opportunity to play full-ice games from January 16th to the end of the season. Association Coaching Directors/Presidents must register the team to participate in this program. Registration is now open and will close on August 1st. The details are:
2. The second is the second annual 8-Only Full Ice Transition Challenge. This tournament is offered to teams of 2016 birth year players and will be held at Revolution Ice Centre in Pittston, PA, from Friday, January 31st, to Sunday, February 2nd. Team registration is $250, and there is a four-game guarantee. Registration is limited to 4 teams per skill level at Advanced (AA), Advanced-Intermediate (A), Intermediate (B), and Beginner (C) levels. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR - The annual 8U Jamboree will take place on September 21-22nd at the Ice Vault, in Wayne, NJ. This free event is open to all 8U teams registered in the AAHA. Registration will open in mid-July.
